Jacqueline E. Lawton is a playwright, dramaturg, producer, and racial equity facilitator. Her produced plays include Anna K; Behold, A Negress; Blood-bound and Tongue-tied; Deep Belly Beautiful; Edges of Time, The Hampton Years; Intelligence, Mad Breed, and the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. She received her MFA in Playwriting from the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Dramatic Art at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a dramaturg at PlayMakers Repertory Company. She is a proud member of the Dramatist Guild and is thrilled to be working with Elon University!

Sarah Hankins
Sarah Hankins (she/her/hers) Artistic Director at Triad Stage, where she directed White Lightning, Pride and Prejudice (Covid-delayed), 4 seasons of A Christmas Carol, and will direct the upcoming productions of The Revolutionists and The Cake. Sarah was Artistic Director at Green Theatre Collective in Brooklyn, NY and had a six year tenure as Associate Artist at Orlando Shakespeare Theater. Sarah has performed in over 25 Shakespeare productions and her acting career has taken her from Florida to Maine. Breana C. Venablé
Breana C. Venablé is a May 2018 graduate of Hollins University where she received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Playwriting with a concentration in Dramaturgy. Breana was a 2022 Creative Renewal Fellowship (Mecklenburg Country Arts & Science Council) finalist, which allowed her to explore multiple artistic mediums of storytelling to usher creative expression, spiritual and sensual reclamation, and ancestral healing while dismantling white supremacy and capitalism through theatre. She’s currently using her dramaturgical skills to assist in nurturing thought-provoking, brilliantly written, conscious-minded original works in television, theatre, and film.

Natalie Taylor Hart
Natalie Taylor Hart is a Scenic Designer and the Associate Chair of Performing Arts at Elon University. Markley Bortz

Angelina Cerami
Angelina Cerami is a Junior BFA Acting Major from New York and is so excited to be a part of The Inferior Sex. Recent credits at Elon include Sense and Sensibility (Gossip), Medea (U/S Chorus) and Pheromone (U/S Shelby). Some of her favorite credits are The Last Five Years (Cathy), Twelve Angry Jurors (Juror #3), The Drowsy Chaperone (Drowsy Chaperone) and Spelling Bee (Logainne).

Hannah Elise Brown
Hannah Elise Brown is a senior with majors in Arts Administration and Theatrical Design and Technology, with concentrations in stage management and lighting design and a minor in Business Administration. She is so excited to be able to be the lighting designer for both Concord Floral and Inferior Sex along with the stage manager for Clue! Some of her past credits at Elon include Movin' On (Lighting Designer) and Fall Dance Concert 2021 (Stage Manager/Lighting Designer). She would like to thank her family and friends, as she would not be able to do this without them!

Graham Cole
Graham Cole is a sophomore Acting major from McLean, Virginia. His work at Elon include Concord Floral (7 / Couch), Sense and Sensibility (Mrs. Jennings U/S, Sir John U/S), and improv with Instant Laughter.

Anna Gullion
Anna is a senior acting major and has appeared in The Elephant Man, #Silenced, Hamlet, and The Cherry Orchard at Elon.

Zoe Healey
Zoe is a freshman Acting major from Hartford Connecticut who is excited to be understudying in her first Elon Production. She is a recent graduate of the UNCSA high school drama program and her past credits include Abigail in The Crucible, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Lilith in She Kills Monsters, and more.

Cara Johnson
Cara Johnson is a senior BFA Acting major from Paris, Tennessee. While at Elon, Cara has stepped into multiple roles within the performing arts department including Elinor in Sense and Sensibility, Attendant U/S in Medea, and even worked as an Assistant Stage Manager for The Inferior Sex. Post graduation Spring 2024, Cara plans to further pursue a professional career in stage and screen performance.

Katie Kapp

Jordan Kulick
Jordan Kulick is incredibly excited to be playing Alice in The Inferior Sex this January Term. She is a Senior BFA Acting Major and plans to move to New York City post grad. Past Elon credits include: Sense and Sensibility (Margaret) Pheromone (Ella), The Wolves (u/s #14), and Medea (u/s Son’s/Guards). Brynn Lackey
Brynn is thrilled to be making her mainstage debut in Clue! Recent credits include She Kills Monsters (Agnes), Sense and Sensibility (Elinor U/S), and Oklahoma! (Ado Annie). Brynn recently studied at the Theatre Academy of London where she received her certification in rapier and dagger from the British Academy of Dramatic Combat. Sean Mikesh is a sophomore BFA Acting major from Bristow, VA who is very excited to make his debut performance with Instant Laughter! At Elon, Sean was involved with last season’s spring show The Cherry Orchard as the part of Trofimov. Also, Sean understudied for the other plays from last season including: Heart of Sharpnel (Y) and Sense and Sensibility (Edward/Col. Brandon). He was also involved in the student-led production Sensory Overload. He's so glad you came out, and he hopes you're ready for an exciting show!

Haley Robles
Haley is a senior Theatrical Design/Technology and Psychology major. She is thrilled to be the Stage Manager for Spring Awakening this fall. She has gained professional experience working at The Lexington Theatre company as the assistant stage manager for 2 seasons. Previous Elon credits include The Inferior Sex, Into the Woods, and 42nd Street. Haley has enjoyed working with this wonderful group of people and is proud that this show will be her last at Elon. Jack is a senior BFA Acting and BA Arts Administration double major from San Diego, California. Carenna, a Senior BFA Acting major, is so happy to be a part of The Inferior Sex and she cannot think of a better experience to serve as her final Elon MainStage. Her past Elon acting credits include Anya in The Cherry Orchard, Voice in Pheromone, #46 u/s in The Wolves, and Ophelia u/s and Court Attendant in Hamlet. She is so grateful for her time with this company, and would like to thank the cast, creative team, and crew along with Sarah and Jacqueline for harboring such an inspiring rehearsal environment!

Jasmine Smith
Jasmine Smith (she/her) is a senior BFA Acting major with a minor in Theatrical Design & Technology. This is her first sound credit for Elon University. She would like to thank the design team and the faculty advisors for all their support during this process.

Carli Shapiro
Carli Shapiro (they/she) is a Senior Theatrical Design and Technology Major who loves being involved in theatrical productions at every capacity. They had a blast working as a props artisan for Clue. Huge thanks to the entire cast and crew for their trust and support!

Brett Turnbull
Brett Turnbull is a senior BFA Acting major from Westchester, New York. He is thrilled to be making his Elon main stage debut as Lee Turner. Brett's past credits include Willoughby/John Dashwood U/S in Elon's Sense and Sensibility as well as film appearances in "Finding Us" (Thomas Film Productions) and "Pitch it 2 Me" (CTA Student Film). Briston Whitt
Briston Whitt is a Senior BFA Acting major from Winston Salem, NC with minors in Communications and Human Service Studies. Her previous Elon credits include Macbeth, Heart of Shrapnel and various student films. After graduation she is moving to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a career in TV/Film. She is humbled and excited to share this production with such an exceptional cast and would like to thank her family for their unwavering prayers and support.

Alyssa Wise
Alyssa is a native of Raleigh, NC making her Elon mainstage debut! She is a sophomore Acting and Arts Administration double major with a business minor. Credits include Antigone (Elon Renegade), Caroline, or Change (The Justice Theater Project), Esse Quam Vediri (NCT Conservatory), Three Little Birds (Raleigh Little Theater), & Beauty and the Beast (Garner Performing Arts Center). Jonathan Jensen
Jonathan is a junior Theatrical Design & Technology major with a focus in Scenic Design. Concord Floral is his first main stage role as a Scenic Designer at Elon, and he cannot wait for you to be enthralled into the interactive set created by himself and the performers!

Isabella Shaffer

Claire Keel
Claire Keel is thrilled to be a part of this amazing show. This is her first mainstage part, and she is so happy she got to witness the making of The Inferior Sex and understudy such incredible actresses. Mae Bischoff
Mae Bischoff is a senior Music in the Liberal Arts Major from Wildwood, NJ. She is also a part of Vital Signs A Cappella here at Elon. She is super excited and grateful to be working with Professor Jones and her classmates on the Winter-term shows, and see everyone’s hard work come to fruition.
