Sammi Grant (she/her/hers) Dialect Coach- Sammi is a Chicago-based dialect/vocal coach and has worked at Goodman Theatre, Drury Lane, Porchlight Music Theatre, Timeline Theatre, Gift Theatre, Windy City Playhouse, and many more. Film/TV Credits: Rescued by Ruby (Netflix); Patriot (Amazon Prime; The Exorcist (Fox). Sammi is a voice/speech teacher for The Theatre School at DePaul University and Access Acting Academy. Sammi holds an MFA with Distinction in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
JP Mullican
JP has served as the Performing Arts Technical Director since Fall 2017. Prior to Elon, he worked as a lead craftsperson and project manager on productions such as Paw Patrol Live. Outside of Elon, he continues work as a freelance technical designer on productions such as the Frozen Australian Tour, The Beauty and the Beast in Shanghai, and The Phantom of the Opera World Tour. In his free time, JP builds custom furniture and runs an ever-increasing number of virtual Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. He couldn’t do any of this without the constant support of his amazing partner.
Kim Shively
Kim Shively is an Assistant Professor at Elon University where she teaches acting and directs. She is also Associate Faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education. A member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA, professional acting credits include: Shakespeare Orange County, Laguna Playhouse, and the Asolo Rep; roles on Guiding Light, As the World Turns, The Young and the Restless, CSI:Miami; and over a dozen national commercials. Her book, "Applied Meisner for the 21st Century Actor", co-authored with Kevin Otos, will be released in May 2021 through Routledge. Susanne Shawyer
Susanne Shawyer is a dramaturg, theatre historian, and Associate Professor of Theatre at Elon University. Her research on dramaturgies of protest and theatre pedagogy has been published in Theatre Journal, Theatre Topics, Research in Drama Education, Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Performance Matters, Canadian Theatre Review, and multiple anthologies. She is Affiliate Faculty—Dramaturgy Specialist with Theatrical Intimacy Education, an organization dedicated to training theatre professionals in theatrical intimacy best practices. She is currently Co-Editor of the journal Theatre Topics. Favorite Elon dramaturgy credits include Servant of Two Masters, Moment, and The Wolves. Education: PhD in Theatre, University of Texas at Austin.

David McGraw
Prof. McGraw serves as the Program Coordinator for Elon University’s Arts Administration major and has overseen over 250 dance and theatre productions. He recently worked with the South African State Theatre on a Fulbright Specialist Grant to coordinate an international tour (pre-pandemic). Matthew Bobzien
Matthew Bobzien is a sophomore double majoring in Arts Administration and Drama & Theatre Studies. He has loved being a Dramaturg and collaborating with everyone to help make Sense and Sensibility come to life. Some of his most recent credits include writing and directing Sensory Overload (Elon NewWorks, 2021) and directing, devising, and performing 20 Plays in 40 Minutes (Alpha Psi Omega, 2021). Graham is a first-year BFA Acting Major from McLean, Virginia, and is excited to be working on his first production at Elon! Manuela Cornick Fernández
Manu is a lateral entry into the acting program. Hailing from Costa Rica, where theatrical opportunities are not easy to come by, she aims to participate in any and all experiences that allow her to work on performances, be it on or offstage. This is her first time as a Dramaturg, but her credits include Costume Design Intern in Chicago, Props Master in Nido De Águilas, and Dance Captain and Costume Master in Les Miserables.
Sarah Fetherston
Sarah Fetherston is a freshman Acting Major from Garden City, New York and is thrilled to be a part of Sense and Sensibility! Since arriving at Elon, Sarah has performed in Not Quite Knocking at the 24 Hour Plays and in the student film Fore! She is also a proud member of the improv group, Instant Laughter. Some of her favorite roles include Donna in Mamma Mia, Judy in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and Joanne in Rent. Shannon O’Shaughnessy
Shannon is a Senior Drama and Theatre Studies Major here at Elon, with minors in Music and Dance. Previous productions at Elon include, The Wolves (dramaturg) and 42nd Street (Ensemble/Ethel). This past Spring she spent the semester studying Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Caitlin is a senior Drama Theatre Studies Major with minors in Education and Women & Gender Studies. Previously at Elon, Caitlin has assistant directed the Vagina Monologues as well as began working on dramaturgy with Elon's production of Hamlet (before being sent home due to Covid-19). Over the summer, Caitlin worked as an intern with Paladino Casting in NYC. Post Elon, she hopes to go to attend graduate school for directing and pursue a career in casting.
