Susanne Shawyer

Susanne Shawyer is a dramaturg, theatre historian, and Associate Professor of Theatre at Elon University. Her research on dramaturgies of protest and theatre pedagogy has been published in such journals as Theatre Journal, Theatre Topics, Research in Drama Education, Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Performance Matters, Canadian Theatre Review, as well as multiple anthologies. She is Affiliate Faculty—Dramaturgy Specialist with Theatrical Intimacy Education, an organization dedicated to training students and theatre professionals in theatrical intimacy best practices. She is currently Co-Editor of the journal Theatre Topics. Favorite Elon credits include The Wolves, Moment, Servant of Two Masters. Education: PhD in Theatre, University of Texas at Austin.

Kim Shively

Kim Shively is an Associate Professor at Elon University where she teaches acting and directs. She is also Associate Faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education. A member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA, professional acting credits include: Shakespeare Orange County, Laguna Playhouse, and the Asolo Rep; roles on Guiding Light, As the World Turns, The Young and the Restless, CSI:Miami; and over a dozen national commercials. She is the co-author of Applied Meisner for the 21st Century Actor (Routledge) and a number of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Shively travels around the world working as a theatrical intimacy educator and practitioner with an emphasis on working with minors. Sammi Grant

Sammi Grant (she/her/hers) Dialect Coach- Sammi is a Chicago-based dialect/vocal coach and has worked at Goodman Theatre, Drury Lane, Porchlight Music Theatre, Timeline Theatre, Gift Theatre, Windy City Playhouse, and many more. Film/TV Credits: Rescued by Ruby (Netflix); Patriot (Amazon Prime; The Exorcist (Fox). Sammi is a voice/speech teacher for The Theatre School at DePaul University and Access Acting Academy. Sammi holds an MFA with Distinction in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

JP Mullican

JP has served as the Performing Arts Technical Director since Fall 2017. Prior to Elon, he worked as a lead craftsperson and project manager on productions such as Paw Patrol Live. Outside of Elon, he continues work as a freelance technical designer on productions such as the Frozen Australian Tour, The Beauty and the Beast in Shanghai, and The Phantom of the Opera World Tour. In his free time, JP builds custom furniture and runs an ever-increasing number of virtual Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. He couldn’t do any of this without the constant support of his amazing partner.

Natalie Taylor Hart

Natalie Taylor Hart is a Scenic Designer and the Associate Chair of Performing Arts at Elon University. Keri Anderson

Keri Anderson is a sophomore BFA Acting and BA Arts Administration double major with a minor in Business Administration from Maryland. Past Elon credits include: Sense and Sensibility (Ms. Dashwood & Margaret u/s ), She Kills Monsters (Renegade Productions).

Matthew Bobzien

Matthew Bobzien is a Junior from Raleigh, NC double majoring in Drama & Theatre Studies and Arts Administration. Matthew’s Elon credits include 24 Hour Plays Tors Snack Break (Alpha Psi Omega, Director), 10 Minute Play Festival (NewWorks, Producer), Sense and Sensibility (Dramaturg), Sensory Overload (Playwright, Director), and 20 Plays in 40 Minutes (Alpha Psi Omega, Director, Deviser, Performer). Matthew is a member of Elon Performing Arts’ Improv Troupe, Instant Laughter. He also serves as Technical Supervisor for Renegade Productions. David McGraw

Prof. McGraw serves as the Program Coordinator for Arts Administration and the Front-of-House Supervisor for Performing Arts. Will Bruno

Will Bruno is a senior Acting and Psychology double major from Stamford, CT. Elon Productions: Violet (Leroy Evans), Macbeth (King Duncan u/s), Bent (Kapo, Uncle Freddie u/s). Angelina Cerami

Angelina Cerami is a sophomore BFA Acting Major from New York and is so excited to be a part of Sense and Sensibility. Recent credits at Elon include Medea (U/S Chorus) and Pheromone (U/S Shelby). Haley Covington

Haley Covington is a Junior B.F.A. Acting and B.A. Arts Administration double major from Franklin, Tennessee. Haley is thrilled to be making her dramaturgy debut. Graham Cole is a sophomore Acting major from McLean, Virginia. His work at Elon include Sense and Sensibility (Mrs. Jennings U/S, Sir John U/S) and improv with Instant Laughter.

Manuela Cornick Fernández

Manu is a lateral entry into Elon's BFA Acting Program, currently taking classes with the Class of 25. Hailing from Costa Rica, where theatrical opportunities are not easy to come by, she aims to participate in any and all experiences that allow her to work on performances, be it on or offstage. Her credits at Elon include Dramaturgy in Sense and Sensibility and Understudy in Heart of Shrapnel. Costa Rican credits include Costume Design Intern in Chicago, Props Master in Nido De Águilas, and Dance Captain and Costume Master in Les Misérables.

Sarah Fetherston

Sarah Fetherston is a sophomore Acting Major from Garden City, New York and is thrilled to be a part of Head Over Heels! Since arriving at Elon, Sarah has understudied in Sense and Sensibility and was in the student film Fore! She is also a proud member of the improv group, Instant Laughter. Some of her favorite roles include Donna in Mamma Mia!, Judy in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Joanne in RENT. Sarah created her first web series Lockdown which she wrote, directed and starred in. Enjoy the show!

Monique Fogg

Monique Fogg is a sophomore Acting Major from Durham, NC. She is ecstatic to be apart of this cast! Some of her favorite roles include, Caroline (I and You), Spirit (Bright Star), and Chorus U/S (Medea).

Kenny Harvey

Cara Johnson

Cara Johnson is a second year acting student from Paris, Tennessee. She previously fulfilled the role as understudy for Attendant in Elon’s last winter production of Euripides’ Medea. Favorite past roles include Esther Simowitz in Breaking Up is Hard to Do and Ouiser in Steel Magnolias. Cara is absolutely elated to be making her Elon main stage debut as Elinor.

Marina Jansen

Marina Jansen is a sophomore Music Theatre major from Maryland who has performed professionally both onstage and onscreen for nearly 8 years. They are so excited to be in their first musical here at Elon! Hannah Kevitt is delighted to be back for her second year at Elon! Jordan Kulick is beyond excited to be playing Margaret in Sense and Sensibility this January Term. She is a Junior BFA Acting Major from Stamford, CT. Aidan Levinson

Aidan Levinson is a senior BFA Acting and Music in the Liberal Arts major from Massachusetts. He is thrilled to be performing the role of Dametas in this production. Recent credits include La Traviata (Servant), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip Tolentino), and Sense and Sensibility (Edward/Robert Ferrars).

Ella Huestis

Ella is a sophomore Music Theatre student from Dallas, TX and is thrilled to be making her mainstage debut, while also working behind the table as Dance Captain and Associate Choreographer, alongside superstar Collin Flanagan, for the production (with work on Vision of Nowness, Get Up and Go, Vacation, Head Over Heels)! Elon Credits include Collage, Elon Cares, Grand Night, Movin' On (Ensemble Swing) and they are ecstatic to be performing as Darla Dawson in Deep Water Ballad this Spring. Grayson Lichtenthaler

Grayson is a Senior BFA Acting Major and is excited to be a part of such a fun and complex show! Prior Elon Credits include CB in "Dog Sees God", King Creon in "Medea", and Soldier/Dancer in "Trojan Barbie". Grayson is a 4-year member of Instant Laughter Improv and is a current student of the Groundlings School in Los Angeles. Laura McGuire

Laura is an Arts Administration major and enjoys working as a house manager in Elon's Performing Arts Department. She is currently conducting research through the College Fellows program on paid and unpaid theater internships.

Sean Mikesh

Sean Mikesh is a sophomore BFA Acting major from Bristow, VA who is very excited to make his debut performance with Instant Laughter! At Elon, Sean was involved with last season’s spring show The Cherry Orchard as the part of Trofimov. Also, Sean understudied for the other plays from last season including: Heart of Sharpnel (Y) and Sense and Sensibility (Edward/Col. Brandon). He was also involved in the student-led production Sensory Overload. He's so glad you came out, and he hopes you're ready for an exciting show!

Alex Nemfakos

Alex is a Senior TDT major with a concentration in lighting and stage management. This year she is the lighting designer on Heart of Shrapnel, Sense and Sensibilities, and The Cherry Orchard. Additionally, she is one of several lighting designers on the Fall Dance Concert and an assistant lighting designer on 42nd Street.

Laney Lynch

Laney Lynch is a Sophomore BFA Acting Major at Elon. This is Laney’s debut at Elon University as she was Understudy for Heart of Shrapnel (Elon University), Production Assistant for Sense and Sensibility (Elon University), and Assistant Director for Cherry Orchard (Elon University). Shannon O’Shaughnessy

Shannon is a Senior Drama and Theatre Studies Major here at Elon, with minors in Music and Dance. Previous productions at Elon include, The Wolves (dramaturg) and 42nd Street (Ensemble/Ethel). This past Spring she spent the semester studying Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Shannon is thrilled to be a part of this show and wants to thank her family and friends for their constant love and support.

Caitlin Pfaff

Caitlin is a senior Drama Theatre Studies Major with minors in Education and Women & Gender Studies. Previously at Elon, Caitlin has assistant directed the Vagina Monologues as well as began working on dramaturgy with Elon's production of Hamlet (before being sent home due to Covid-19). Over the summer, Caitlin worked as an intern with Paladino Casting in NYC. Post Elon, she hopes to go to attend graduate school for directing and pursue a career in casting. She is also extremely excited to be working with this amazing group. Special thanks to Dr. Shawyer for being the best mentor the past 4 years!

Sivan is currently a Junior Acting Major at Elon University from Los Angeles, California. Her most recent performances include understudying #25 in The Wolves, and Chorus in the principle cast of Medea at Elon. Brett Turnbull

Hi I'm Brett Turnbull and I am a Sophomore Acting Major from Westchester, New York! In this show I play the Understudy to John Dashwood and Willoughby as well as being a Gossip. This will be my first show experience in the Acting Program but I have held roles in High School such as, Tommy Boy and Spot Conlon in Newsies as well as Sonny in Grease.
