Kim Shively

Kim Shively is an Assistant Professor at Elon University where she teaches acting and directs. She is also Associate Faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education. A member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA, professional acting credits include: Shakespeare Orange County, Laguna Playhouse, and the Asolo Rep; roles on Guiding Light, As the World Turns, The Young and the Restless, CSI:Miami; and over a dozen national commercials. Her book, "Applied Meisner for the 21st Century Actor", co-authored with Kevin Otos, will be released in May 2021 through Routledge. Kevin Otos

Kevin Otos grew up in Southern California where he learned to love the beaches and the mountains as well as acting. He developed his passion for theatre in Oregon and ultimately graduated with his MFA in Acting from Florida State University's Asolo Conservatory where he studied with an outstanding faculty, including the legendary director of Eugene O’Neill's plays, the Tony Award winning José Quintero. Screen credits include One Tree Hill, Necessary Roughness, and Underground as well as several independent films, commercials, and industrials. Favorite stage roles include Antony in Julius Caesar and Leo Tressler in Junk. Also a director for the stage, some favorite productions include American La Ronde, Cherry Orchard, Twelfth Night, his own adaptation of Servant of Two Masters, and the North American premier of Simon Stephen’s Pornography. Jack A. Smith

Jack is an Associate Professor of Performing Arts. He has worked at many regional theaters from The Orlando Shakespeare Theater to The Actor’s Theater of Louisville. He spends most of his summers either working at a small theater in Missouri (City of Maples Rep) or traveling the world looking at textiles, antique garments, or cultural wonders. His passions include antique textiles (specifically American Women’s Costume from the 19th century and the politics of 18th-century French fashions) and his dog, Neha!

Markley Bortz is a sophomore acting major at Elon University. Other Elon credits include Pheromone (Olive), Clown Bar (Popo u/s), and staged reading of Clown Bar 2 (Popo). She is a member of Elon Performing Arts' improv troupe Instant Laughter. She is so grateful to have been a part of such an incredible cast and crew during this time!

Allyson Vogel

Allyson Vogel is a sophomore majoring in biology and theatrical design and technology with a focus in stage management. This is her musical stage-managing debut at Elon, and her recent shows include Hamlet (assistant stage manager) and Pheromone (stage manager). She is so proud of all of the hard work put into this show, and she looks forward to what the next school year brings.

Haley Richey

(Props Master) Haley Richey is a Junior Theatrical Design and Technology Major with a focus in props and makeup. During her Elon career she worked on Trojan Barbie as one of the makeup designers, Clown Bar as the weapons handler, and began working on Violet in the spring of last year as the props master. She wants to thank Charles Johnson and Natalie Hart for their continuous support throughout the production. She always wants to thank her friends and family for inspiring her to work hard on this project.

Kevin Lacey is a senior BFA Music Theatre program major, originally from Atlanta, GA. JP Mullican

JP has served as the Performing Arts Technical Director since Fall 2017. Prior to Elon, he worked as a technical designer, lead craftsperson, and project manager. Outside of Elon, he continues work as a freelance technical designer on productions such as the Frozen Australian Tour, The Beauty and the Beast in Shanghai, and The Phantom of the Opera World Tour. In his free time, JP builds custom furniture and runs an ever-increasing number of virtual Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. He couldn’t do any of this without the constant support of his amazing partner, Amanda.

Sydney Dye

(Poster Design) Sydney Dye is a current senior studying Theatrical Design & Technology and Communication Design. This year, Sydney is very excited to be producing her Lumen project #silenced, with the help of many fellow Performing Arts students. She was a video design intern at The Muny in 2019, and returned as a production editor for The Muny Summer Variety Hour series in 2020. Her select Elon credits include, We Will Rock You (projection designer), Trojan Barbie (projection designer), The Wolves (stage manager) and Bent (stage manager). Oonagh Kelly

Oonagh Kelly is a senior Acting and Arts Administration major. Past acting credits include #11 in The Wolves and understudy roles in American La Ronde, The School for Wives, and Trojan Barbie. She is an active member of Elon’s improv troupe Instant Laughter. In the summer of 2019, she worked for Jim Carnahan Casting in NYC, where she assisted in casting cycles for numerous Broadway/Off-Broadway shows, as well as John Mulaney’s latest Netflix comedy special The Sack Bunch Lunch. Greg Thorn

Greg Thorn (Lighting Designer) is the Technical Director for the Department of Cultural &amp; Special Programs at Elon University. Some of his past lighting design credits include The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Cabaret, You Can’t Take It with You, The Glass Menagerie, and Mama Mia! In addition, his set design credits include My Side of the Story and The Thing With Feathers. This is his fifth time designing for this production, and it remains to be his favorite event of the year! He wants to thank the entire production team for tackling this event in a film capacity for the first time ever, as well as the dancers for their amazing work!

Hannah Elise Brown

Hannah Elise Brown is a sophomore Theatrical Design and Technology major from Raleigh, North Carolina. Hannah Elise is beyond excited to be working with all of the talented individuals of this program! Hannah Elise’s notable Elon credits include Beast Mode Champion (Asst. Stage Manager), Dog Sees God (Asst. Lighting Designer), and Elephant Man (Stage Manager). The Assistant Technical Director for Cultural and Special Programs. Alumni from the TDT department. Currently working professionally and personally on 3D printing and designs. Personal credits include ATD and carpenter for most Elon shows, as well as remote prop artist for the PA Renn Faire and Berkshire Theatre Group.

Haley Covington

Haley Covington (Witch 2) is a sophomore BFA Acting major from Nashville, Tennessee. Elon credits include #8 (Understudy) in The Wolves and Petunia (Understudy) in Clown Bar. She would like to thank Professor Shively and the entire cast and crew for this wonderful experience. She would also like to thank her family for always supporting her. Jack Morrill is a sophomore BFA Acting major from San Diego, California. ​Jack has worked as the Promotional Manager for a year now. Elon credits include Timmy u/s in Clown Bar, Mac in a staged reading of Clown Bar 2, Beethoven u/s in Dog Sees God, Polonius u/s in Hamlet, Mr. Bergman and others in Beast Mode Champion.

Hana is a junior acting major from Westchester, New York and is beyond grateful to be making her mainstage debut. Prior Elon credits include Hamlet and School for Wives. Payton Robinson

Sophomore BFA Acting Major, Payton Robinson, is excited to be a part of this production of Macbeth as one of the 8 Kings and Malcom’s Understudy. This is Payton’s third production to be involved in at Elon, with her first two roles being #2 (Understudy) in The Wolves and Second Correspondent (Understudy) in Medea. Payton wants to express her immense gratitude for her family and their undying support, as well as the cast, crew, and Professor Shively for a wonderful experience.

Andy Edelman

Andy is a Junior BFA Music Theatre major, originally from Lexington, MA. He is thrilled to be Assistant Directing Macbeth, and would like to thank Professor Shively for the incredible opportunity, as well as Jack Smith for the brilliant inspiration regarding Butoh, and the Witches' movement. Recent highlights include productions with Reagle Music Theatre, Opera House Theatre Company, and the Walnut Hill School for the Arts (The Music Man, La Cage Aux Folles, Chicago, West Side Story). Tommy Truitt

Tommy Truitt is a Sophomore BFA Acting major from Mt. Airy Maryland. His past performances include Twinkles understudy in Clown Bar as well as being involved as an understudy and assistant director in Hamlet. He is so excited to be playing the part of Soldier One as well as understudying Banquo and Witch One and is extremely grateful to be a part of this incredibly talented and supportive cast. Will Bruno

Will is a fourth year double major in Acting and Psychology. Some of Will's Elon acting credits include Bent (Kapo/Uncle Freddie u/s) and Violet (Leroy Evans, Gospel trio member, ensemble). At Elon, Will has also served as a dramaturg for Trojan Barbie and as an assistant stage manager for The 1940s Radio Hour. He profusely thanks the cast, crew, and production team of Macbeth for their constant flexibility, imagination, and innovation. Kayleigh Jones

Kayleigh Jones (Lady Macbeth) is a senior BFA Acting major with a Communications minor from Gastonia, North Carolina. She has loved working on this production and couldn't have asked for a better way to end her senior year!
