FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What kind of alterations can you do?
  • Every piece of clothing is unique, so we highly recommend submitting a photo or description of your garment in need of alteration through the sign-up form so that we can analyze your alteration before you arrive. However; here are some alterations that are almost always a yes:
    • Hems (shortening of pants or dresses)
    • Waist adjustments (dresses, pants, or skirts)
    • Button Placements
  • Some alterations that are very possible, but sometimes depend on the piece, are:
    • Tailoring work
    • Sleeve adjustments (depending on the quality and age of the garment)
    • etc. (we would love to work with you, don’t hesitate to reach out with any specific alteration questions!)
How long does it take for the garment to be finished?

The goal is to complete the alterations within that same week, with a pick up time exactly a week away from your alteration time.

Does the person wearing the clothes have to be present for the fitting?

Yes. In order to take accurate measurements, the person who plans to wear the clothes must be present for the fitting. So no sending a friend in your place!
